We have a dedicated room available for emergency and/or medium term accommodation at our respite facility located in Amherst. 

Medium term accommodation is for when you need somewhere to live temporarily while you and your care team work towards long-term housing.

To be eligible, you must have a plan in place for a long term housing option as Medium Term options are generally only for 90 days. This can be extended out but will need approval from the NDIS. 

This support sits under Home and Living Supports in your NDIS plan. 

Funding for medium term accommodation only covers the cost of the accommodation for the time you stay there. It’s a temporary and extra cost you have due to your disability support needs.  

You will need to discuss this option with NDIS and your Support Coordinator before any bookings can be made.
